Highland Manor wedding

Highland Manor in Apopka Florida was the location for this exciting and enjoyable wedding ceremony and reception. Brandon and Stephanie were so much fun to photograph with all of their friends and family. This venue is certainly one of my favorite wedding locations. It is a photographers delight with the southern mansion appeal on a plantation. In fact, it used to be named Townsends Plantation at one point in time. The grounds are ideal for an outdoor ceremony with plenty of shade from the abundant live oak trees adorned with the native hanging Spanish Moss. This venue even has a small chapel on site for indoor weddings in case of inclement weather. From a photographers point of view, I personally love the porch areas for portraits and the recently remodeled banquet room is beautiful and reflective for ideal lighting conditions while maintaining a natural look for candid reception coverage. There is plenty of parking and the completely covered valet zone is ideal for a grand exit at the end of the reception when the bride and groom are ready to leave. The bride has the perfect dressing room upstairs for those journalistic getting ready shots that are so much in demand. In other words, storytelling through photographs is easily attained at Highland Manor and I always look forward to my next event coverage being held there.
