Florida outdoor weddings are absolutely beautiful and there are so many venues statewide. We are located in Central Florida so driving 2 hours in any directions allows us the greatest scenery change. From the gold coast Tampa area to the east coast from St Augustine to Melbourne provides beautiful beaches that are great for sunrise or sunset wedding ceremonies which is every wedding photographers dream. The gardens available throughout the center of the state are abundant. Bok Tower, Leu Gardens, The Castle, The Secret Garden just to name a few. Of course the list of bed and breakfast locations and Rosen, Marriott and Gaylord Palms hotel chains are always great and they have the convenience of guest accommodations. Mission Inn Weddings are a bit of a drive from Longwood, Florida but a wedding ceremony and reception at the Mission Inn in Howie in the Hills is always beautiful. The day started at the church in Winter Garden so there are a few pictures from there too. The photos from this reception were at the Valentines Day time hence the dominant red theme.
We have used the B&W with spot color added to this gallery of photographs to show how effective it can be. Most common is to colorize the floral bouquets but colorizing just the bride and groom in a room scene is stunning. The night ended with the bride and groom doing their sparkler exit. TIP: Look for the wedding sparklers as they are much longer than the typical July 4th sparklers and you will be glad you did when trying to organize a large group lighting them at the same time and still have the first lighters with something to show. Here are some pictures taken at a very colorful Heathrow Country Club wedding in Lake Mary, Florida. 
We hope you enjoy looking at some decoration ideas as well as banquet room shots. The colors used are yellow pinks, blues and greens. This venue is beautiful and is very nearby to our studio in Longwood. The grounds indoors and out provide a great backdrop for photographs.
Colorful mints decorate the Candy Bar while the linens match perfectly. Lots of thought went into this decorating.

We had the pleasure of photographing this beach wedding ceremony and fun shots on the beach with the bridal party. The bride and groom saw each other before the ceremony allowing them the best lighting and the benefit of heading to the reception much faster than if all the formals would have been done post ceremony.
