Camping in St Augustine.
We finally got to go camping again last week. We took a week off vacation at Anastasia State Park and YES it was hot but still lots of fun as our RV has AC and all the amenities of home. Just no traffic congestion. Lily loves camping and watching for all sorts of wildlife. The cooler months are definitely nicer but we’ve also seen it too cold at times too. Got to sight see on George St in the tourist district.

Buena Vista Palace Wedding Orlando
We met our bride and groom , Leona and Seymour face to face yesterday as they came to Orlando, Florida for their destination wedding from New York. We did however meet once earlier by Skype which gave us the opportunity to show them our studio as well as some sample albums. The event was held at the Buena Vista Palace and we worked with Abby and Megan of SweetPeaEvent.com, Phil with Soundwave Entertainment and of course Emily Johnson at the BVP. Our bride and groom and all of their family and friends were a total pleasure to work with as well as all of the other vendors. The weather was warm but absolutely beautiful and as always this venue site abounds with the perfect location to produce gorgeous photographic images with it’s scenic landscapes and reflective ponds. We will post some photos in the next couple of days. The wedding took place at the gazebo with the reception upstairs at 20Seven overlooking the Disney area skyline.

John and Nancy got married today at the Secret Garden in Longwood, Florida. Thank goodness for our reliable breeze off the lake. Even though it was a 10:00 AM wedding it was still a bit warm but everything went absolutely perfect. Congratulations to this wonderful couple.

Levans Catering.
In the busyness of life we all have to make time to do fun things and today Marti and I got to spend some time with Gregg and Duane at Levans Catering at their new office in Winter Springs. These guys and their entire staff for that matter really care about helping their customers. We are honored to get to work with them at every opportunity. Just today someone said something I really liked. They said and I quote, “We are not here for a long time… we are here for a good time”. Alaqua Country Club wedding.
Marti and I had the extreme pleasure or working at The Alaqua Country Club again. They have a great staff, great food food and the perfect location. This facility is such a great place for photographs with the archway entrances inside and out as well as the general upkeep of the grounds. The food is always perfect from preparation to presentation and the staff are always polite and professional.Congratulations to Juan and Alaina. Here are some preliminary pics I took with my iPhone. The dance floor is spacious and very accessible from all sides for photography coverage and without getting in anyone’s way. As you can see in the photos below, they have the option of having the ceremony out side under cover of any inclement weather. The fountain area and landscaping adds so much to the pictures giving the wedding couple beautiful memories to last a lifetime. The acoustics are another thing to consider in choosing the perfect wedding reception location and Alaqua Country Club scores well on this concern. Even though the ceilings are high which is another beautiful aspect of the architecture, the archways and walled petition breaks in the room act as a sound modifier and without separating any of the guests from each other. I guess it is obvious that as a photographer this is certainly one of my favorite venues to have the opportunity to provide my services at. I would imagine that a DJ or Entertainment Production company would have to agree that this facility is one of the best in design and appeal to a wedding client for the ceremony and reception location. Parking is very close to the main building and very easy to enter into. I almost forgot to mention the free attraction is the wild deer that roam the neighborhood. So cute to see in almost any yard so be careful driving through this beautiful gated community.
